Lidl would like to build a new, modern foodstore off Castle Lane West in Bournemouth.
Before a planning application is submitted to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, we would like to know what the community thinks about the plans.
This website provides details of the planning application which will be submitted to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. If you have any questions about the proposals, please email Southampton.property@lidl.co.uk or call 0238 074 2581.
The site is located at the junction of Castle Lane West and Wimborne Road in Bournemouth.
The site is ideally located to serve the surrounding residential areas and is already in retail use, being an existing retail park. The proposals would replace the existing non-food retail units with a modern Lidl foodstore, built to our latest specifications.
The site would be accessed via Wimborne Road as it is currently. The foodstore would be located on the eastern portion of the site, with the car park to the west.
Lidl is proud to have been part of the Bournemouth community for many years, delivering a fresh choice for shoppers and employment for local people. The site is an existing retail park and the proposed Lidl store will replace the existing non-food retail units with a modern foodstore built to our latest specifications, that will provide deep discounted grocery shopping.
